    I'm changing your sentence to "I don't know Kannada" as that would be easier for you to say in Kannada! :)

Google translate says "Nanage kannaḍa gottilla". I guess the "nanage" is for the first person and can be obviated?

"nanage" literally translates to "for me".
In this context it means "I" and can be safely omitted.
"Kannada gothilla" would be the transliteration.
