Tết – A Traditional Vietnamese Holiday
Mai Chi, July 3
People have celebrated Tet in Vietnam for many years.
Before Tet, people buy fruits and flowers. They also decorate their houses. During Tet, everyone visits their family and friends, and no one goes to school or work. Many children wear new clothes and they get lucky money. People often watch lion dances and fireworks.
This traditional holiday is very popular, and Vietnamese people love it.
Thank you so much, Joan!
