Hello. I was born and raised in New Mexico, and certainly took Spanish in school, but I don't really remember much from that. The words that stick are the ones I learned while just sitting down with an old book of spanish lessons, and the words that my mayan co-workers have taught me. I understand a certain amount, but my listening comprehension is lacking. Since I am determined to finally learn this language, I am so grateful to find this site, along with so many other free resources on the internet where I can learn in my own way.
